This workshop offers a sensitive and in-depth immersion into the work of undulation and balance as fundamental principles of movement in dance. Designed as a space for research, transmission, and experimentation, it is open to anyone wishing to explore the body as a site of perception, memory, and knowledge.

For the first time, and as part of its new educational programme, Ultima Vez is opening an intensive workshop dedicated to the artistic and practical process of composing music and designing sound for film, dance, theatre, and documentary.

Join us for a workshop that immerses you in the physical, intuitive, and theatrical language of Ultima Vez. Over the course of five full days, you will enter the company’s unique way of approaching movement, creation, and performance on stage – a practice where intense physicality, intuition, and theatricality are inseparable.

As a technician, you will share responsibility for the technical production and realization of all projects, both in-house and on tour, as well as technical support in the studio. We are looking for a third all-round technician specializing in lighting to strengthen our technical team. Tasks are always well distributed within the team. You will work both in our studio complex in Brussels and while on tour.

In 1987, Wim Vandekeybus created What the Body Does Not Remember with his newly founded company Ultima Vez. Not immediately labelled as dance, the piece redefined the field and earned the prestigious Bessie Award in New York for its “brutal confrontation of dance and music.”
