Molenfest
On the 14 and 15th of September we'll be part of Molenfest with three short performances!

A short duo from Void will be presented at Molenfest by Cola Ho Lok Yee & Hakim Abdou Mlanao.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲 - 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗳 & 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗮𝗵 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮
Impasse is a dance duet that explores the diasporic experience, particularly the black African diaspora. It questions what it means to be a diasporic entity, how one inhabits spaces in which their existence is not clearly marked, and how memory becomes critical to oneโs identity. Impasse is an attempt to understand the nuances and complexities around the autonomy and self-determination of black bodies.
A 15 minute part of Impasse will be shown at Molenfest.

Despite the loss of something precious, she holds onto hope, convinced that she will eventually find it again. Her reality feels suspended in time, as she struggles to recall what she has lost and forgotten. Perhaps it was something she once loved and cherished deeply, long ago...
